I record analysis processes in case I want to repeat the same processes later. I also apply ShareX to screenrecord analysis I conduct on ATLAS.ti (a brilliant software programme you can use to facilitate analysing qualitative data including text (Microsoft Word or PDF), audio, images and video files).

The size can be preset before you record. Some files are small enough to email directly while maintaining video quality. Since you can save your downloaded video content, it's easy to share using Google Drive or Dropbox. It makes it easy for team members or students to review in their own time. I also record work tasks for team collaboration where you have to explain admin or research processes or protocols that others should follow in the same manner. I find it incredibly useful to make screen and voice combination recordings for professional use in creating my teaching materials and for qualitative research.įor example, I record presentations on my screen with my voice script that I can send to students I supervise. This means you can choose to record your screen (virtual) with either your voice or the virtual sound, or choose your webcam with virtual or voice recorder options. You can choose only one visual and sound input per recording. ShareX is a freeware programme designed to record either virtually (your computer screen) or self-record over your webcam.
